John R. Walaski

Middletown, RI - John R. Walaski, 43, of 5A Bristol Road, Middletown, RI, died Sunday, November 4, 2007 at home. Born in Salamanca, NY on February 15, 1964, he was the son of Lorraine Soares Passmore of Middletown and the late Martin Samuel Walaski, JR. John worked on the fishing boats on Perry Mill Wharf. Besides his mother he is survived by his son, Nathan Gentry of Cranston, RI, his brother James Walaski of Portsmouth, RI, his sisters Debbie Smith of Fall River, MA, Mary Macomber and Judy Walaski both of Middletown, RI and Cathy Lohrman of North Kingstown, RI, fourteen nieces and nephews and seventeen great nieces and nephews.He was the brother of the late Martin J. Walaski and Tommy Walaski. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2007, at 1:00 pm in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be private.Calling hours are omitted.
