John T. Weiderman

John T. (Amado) Weiderman, 31 of Newport, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 inNewport Hospital after a long illness.Born in Newport on January 30, 1982, he was the son of Lisa M. Amado and MichaelB. Weiderman both of Newport.John was generous with his time, volunteering at the Community Baptist Churchsoup kitchen.John was also an active member of the Cape Verdean Social Club, serving as theorganizations Secretary for the past three years.He was also a long time and loving companion to his grandparents and greatgrandparents in their later years.Besides his parents he leaves two sons, Brian A. Williams and John T. Weidermanboth of Middletown, his brother Michael Weiderman of Newport. John was also thegrandson of Theodore and Lorraine Amado and is also survived by several aunts,uncles and cousins.He was also the grandson of the late Axel and Elizabeth Weiderman and DorothyAmado.Calling hours will be held, Wednesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the MemorialFuneral Home.A Low Mass will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00am in St. John theEvangelist Church, 61 Poplar Street, Newport, RI.Burial will be private.Donations in his memory may be made to the Community Baptist Church FoodKitchen, 50 Dr. Marcus F.
