Newport, RI ? Jose ?Chino? N. Nevares, 56, of 41 Park Holm Newport, died Friday, March 11, 2005 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Morovis, Puerto Rico, on April 16, 1948, he was the son of the late Valentino and Carmen Nevares. Mr. Nevares was a cook for various restaurants on the island.His funeral will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2005, at 10:00 AM in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
