NEWPORT, RI ? Joseph ?Lil Joe? Estrella, 75, of 70 Harrison Avenue, Newport, RI, formerly of Memorial Boulevard, Newport, died Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Village House Nursing Home, Newport, RI. Born in Fall River, MA on November 29, 1929, he was the son of the late Antone J. and Mary Coreiro Estrella. Joe was a farmer in Portsmouth and was a bartender at the former Sun Sand. He is survived by his children Mark Estrella of Fall River, MA, Joseph Estrella Jr. of Middletown, RI, Charles Estrella of IL, Michelle Estrella of Middletown, RI, Lois Estrella of PA, and Diane Estrella of Westport, MA, his step children James Pavia of Middletown, RI, Kim Bernard of Newport, RI and Michelle Debroski of IL, his brothers Antone ?Tony? Estrella and Edward ?Eddie? Estrella both of Westport, MA, his sisters Francelina Dean of Fall River, MA, Mary D. St. Pierre of Westport, MA and Patricia Ann Estrella of Fall River, MA, twenty two grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Jesse Estrella, Alfred Estrella, David Estrella, Manuel Estrella, George Estrella, John Estrella and Alice Lopes. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at 12:00PM, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
