Joseph R. Manville, Jr., 65, of Fort Myers Beach, Fl, formerly of 25 King Road, Middletown, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at home.Born in Newport, RI on July 6, 1941 he was the son of Amy E. Perry of Newport and the late Joseph R. Manville, Sr. Mr. Manville was a carpenter employed with Blueline Construction Corp before retiring.He was a US Army veteran.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Shawn J. Manville of South Kingstown, RI and Sharon M. Manville of Coventry, RI; six sisters, Amy E. Manville Vars of Jensen Beach, FL, Frances S. Manville Escobar of Portsmouth, RI, Caroline Gardow of South Kingstown, RI, Carmen Scott of Middletown, RI, and Debbie Gibbs and Susie Samuel, both of Newport, RI; a brother, Frank S. Perry, Jr. of Portsmouth, RI; and three granddaughters, Amanda M., Allison M. and Carly M. Manville. He was the father of the late Troy W. Manville and the step-son of the late Frank Souza Perry.His funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 10 am in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.Burial with military honors will be in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2007 from 4-7 pm in the Memorial Funeral Home.
