Portsmouth, RI - Joyce Mary DiPietro, 57, of 45 Robin Rd, Portsmouth, RI, died Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Center, Fall River, MA.She was the wife of Henry DiPietro. Born in Boston, MA on March 8, 1952, she was the daughter of Eleanor Healey Slattery of Quincy, MA and the late Paul V Slattery. Mrs. Dipietro worked for 10 years at Raytheon as an information technology specialist. She was a loving wife and mother, the heart and soul of her family and could not be missed more by everyone. Besides her husband of 29 years and her mother, she is survived by her daughters Jessica DiPietro and Rebecca DiPietro of Portsmouth, RI, her brothers Paul Slattery of New Orleans and John Slattery of Hanson, MA and her sisters Eleanor Hughes of Rockland, MA, Mary Zanetti of Ludlow, MA and Joan Colletti of Tenants Harbor, ME. Her funeral will be held on Monday, November 16, 2009, at 9:00am, from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am IN St. Anthonys Church, East Main Road, Portsmouth.Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2009, from 4-8 in the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society of Rhode Island, 931 Jefferson Blvd. Suite 3004, Warwick, RI, 02886.
