Judith A. Blaney

Newport, RI ? Judith ?Judy? Blaney, 53, formerly of Middletown, RI, died suddenly on Monday, April 2, 2007 at the Newport Hospital. Born in Quincy, MA, on October 28, 1953, she was the daughter of the late James C. and Agnes R. McNally Blaney.Judy resided in Massachusetts until her family moved in 1965 to Middletown. She was a graduate of Middletown High School and the Rhode Island School of Hairdressing. Judy was well known as a hairdresser, working at Judy?s for years. She left the profession to care for her mother and father in their later years. Judy had a life long love of animals and volunteered at the Robert J. Potter League. She is survived by her sisters, Alice Blaney Couser and Linda Blaney McDermott of Newport, RI, her nephew Robert Seale of Warwick, RI and her companion Walter Bennett of Newport, RI. She was the sister of the late James C. Blaney, Jr. and Susan M. Blaney Her funeral services will be private.
