Julia May Kane

Julia May Ratzsch Kane, 74, of 191 Forest Avenue Middletown, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, died Sunday, July 28, 2002 at Forest Farm Health Care Center Middletown, RI. Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 16, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Fred Ratzsch and the late Edna Walling Ratzsch. Mrs. Kane was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Rhode Island in May of 2000 to be close to her family. She was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award at the Forest Farm Assisted Living Facility in 2001. She is survived by a son Frank E. Kane of Middletown, RI, a daughter Julie Kane Koster of Middletown, RI, a brother Thomas Ratzsch of Kearns, UT, and a sister Ellie Ratzsch of California, and 3 Grandchildren. Her funeral will be private.
