Tiverton, RI - Julia Marie (Vieira) Bucci, 87, passed away at home, 32 Bluebird Drive, Tiverton, RI on Monday, December 8, 2014. at home.Born to Aldina (Benevides) and Mariono Vieira on July 30, 1927, in Newport, RI.She lived in RI, Florida, Colorado, Maryland, and back to RI! She worked at the mansions as a parlor maid, local farms, and was a childcare provider for many families. Julia attended St. Catherine Academy. She was the 6th of 12 children with three sisters remaining alive. Julia was an auxiliary for the Knights of Columbus in Florida. She enjoyed board games, Bingo, and family gatherings. Julia was a wonderful Mom, grandma, and Auntie to us all. She never regretted anything she did.Survivors include her devoted husband Frank Bucci of 64 years, her children Julieann Brocious and her husband Gerald, Marion Fath and her husband Chris, Catherine Brady and her husband Tim, and Jennifer Saylor and her fianc Walter Guzman, her grandchildren, Anthony Vieira Jr., Francis-Anne Keener, Deborah Marie Brocious, G. Charles Brocious, Danielle Fath, Matthew Fath, Patrick Meagher, Lori Homan, Frank Saylor, and Samuel Saylor, and her great grandchildren, Brenna Vieira, A. J. Vieira, Logan Anthony Keener, Brady Brocious Xavier Fath, Jacob Fath and Viviana Fath.Julie is predeceased by her beloved sons Anthony Vieira, and Airman Francis Anthony Bucci, six siblings and her parents.Her service will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at 10:30am in St. Columba Chapel, Brown's Lane, Middletown.Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the service and the reception to follow at 11:30am in Foodworks, 2461 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
