Justine Marie Wesner

Justine Wesner, 77, of Portsmouth, RI peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 after having spent the twilight moments of her life surrounded by her three sons. She was brought into this world by her parents, Helen and Edmund. She was raised in a close knit family, neighborhood, and community on the lower east side. She migrated to Aquidneck Island where she lovingly raised and nurtured her own family.

Justine had a tremendous gift of seeing the beauty in all things and the innate abilities in people. She expressed this in a multitude of ways, particularly through art. Her favorite mediums were clay, paints, and written word, which are cherished by her family. Her commitment to the community manifested in many ways, including her volunteer work with Big Sisters and the Boy Scouts.
Justine accomplished many achievements in her lifetime. She was a traveler, a dancer, a mother, a wife, and an amazing friend. She received her bachelor degree from the University of Rhode Island, practiced real estate, and worked as stenographer in addition to raising three boys.

Justine is survived by her brother Thomas, her three sons, David, Andrew, and Nicholas, and her grandson Ezekiel.

The memorial service is being planned for spring of 2021.
