Kaija I. Hooton

Warren, RI - Kaija I. Hooton, 44, of 5 Church Street Warren, died January 28, 2005, unexpectedly at home. Born in Newton, New Jersey on November 1, 1960, she was the daughter of Dzinta Vanhes Krohn of Florida and Wilhelm Krohn. Mrs. Hooton was a 1979 graduate of Warren High School. She was employed at Jai Alai Newport Grand for several years, most recently as a bartender. Besides her mother she is survived by two daughters Sheri Hooton and Ashley Hooton both of Warren, RI, her brother Egil Krohn of Florida, and her niece Nikole Gouveia of Bristol, RI. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, from 5-7PM in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be private.
