Karyn Lynn Faircloth, 68, of Middletown died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. Born on August 3, 1948 in Steubenville, OH, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen E. (Gardocki) Campbell. Karyn worked as a manger in the restaurant business. She was the very active member of the VFW, a charter member of VFW Auxiliary Post 5390, was a Department President District II of Rhode Island, and the current Department President of Rhode Island.She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Church of Portsmouth, RI, Georgianne Elsworth of Milwaukie, OR and numerous nieces and nephews.She was the sister of the late Robert Campbell.A period of visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm followed by a service at 6:30, in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.A celebration of life will be held at VFW Post 5390, 822 Anthony Road, Portsmouth, RI immediately following the service.Burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Operation Standdown, 164 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840.
