Middletown, - Katherine Mary Marsden Peters Owens, 95, of 4 Acacia Drive Middletown, died Sunday, April 27, 2003 at Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late George Peters and Harold B. Owens. Born in Hartford, CT on November 18, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaretta Renals Marsden.Mrs. Owens was a member of the Middletown Senior Citizens Club, a former member of the International Order of Redman and a communicant of St. Lucys Church. She is survived by her son George F. Peters Jr. of Newport, RI, her daughter Katherine M. Peters of Middletown, RI, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.She was the sister of the late Frank L. Marsden, Beatrice Vanderhoff and Dorothy Grogan.Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2003, at 8:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
