Portsmouth, RI - Kathleen E. ?Kay? Devaney Hebert, 91, of 39 Mail Coach Road, Portsmouth, RI, passed away at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her family on Friday, October 21, 2011She was the wife of the late Joseph G ?Blacky?. Hebert. Born in New York, NY on December 12, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Powers Devaney.Mrs. Hebert worked at the former Warwick Shoppers World for several years. She was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church. Kay loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her son Michael J. Hebert and his wife Mary Reeve of South Kingstown, RI, her daughters Mary Ellen Gough of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Kathy Champlin and her husband Rodman of Portsmouth, RI, her brother Thomas Devaney and his wife Trudyof Long Island, NY. Kay was the grandmother of Mary Rudnick, Thomas Gough Jr.Loretta Lovejoy, Rodman Champlin IV, Jeffrey Champlin, Christopher Champlin, Caitlin Hebert, Meaghan Hebert, Hayley Hebert and Caleb Hebert as well as the great grandmother of Benjamin Rudnick, Matthew Gough, Nancy Rudnick, Rachel Rudnick, Amanda Lovejoy, Connor Lovejoy and Hunter Gough.She was the mother in law of the late Thomas J. Gough. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, from 4 ? 8pm, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI..
