Kenneth Aharonian

Kenneth Aharonian, 89 of 417 Forest Avenue, Middletown, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Grand Islander Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Louise (Shamlian) Aharonian. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John Ohanes and Sarah (Deranian) Aharonian.Mr. Aharonian served in the Army-Air Force during WWII in the 3rd Photo Group and was head of the motor pool. For a while he owned and operated his own gas station. He went on to work for 35 years for the Teamsters. Kenneth was enthusiastic about current technology and sharing it with his family.He leaves his children John A. Aharonian and his wife Anne of Cumberland, Rose Gomes of Middletown. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Michelle Viola and her husband James, Christine Aharonian and Daniel Aharonian and great grandson Gregory Viola; nephew George A. Varjabedian, several nieces and great nieces and nephews and his beloved cat Buddy.Kenneth was the brother of the late Andrew Aharonian, George Aharonian, Rose Varjabedian , brother in law to the late George K. Varjabedian and father in law to the late John Gomes.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Services on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11:00am in Sts.
