Newport, RI - Kenneth G. Clarke, 40, of 10 Cross Street Newport, RI, died Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at home. Born in Newport, RI on April 21, 1963, he was the son of Mary D. Mello Clarke of Portsmouth, RI and the late Francis A. Clarke.Mr. Clarke was a 1980 graduate of Rogers High School. He was a cook at the Brick Alley Pub Restaurant and Buskha Restaurant on Thames Street. Mr. Clarke was a communicant of St. Josephs Church. He was an avid reader and he enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his mother Mary D. Clarke of Portsmouth, RI, four brothers Vincent P. Clarke of Middletown, RI, Francis A. Clarke of Newport, RI, William A. Clarke of Portsmouth, RI, and Thomas M. Clarke of Hope Valley, RI, five sisters Anna Coleman of Lawton, OK, Marion Aguiar of Newport, RI, Mary Bona of Middletown, RI, Barbara Waring of Portsmouth, RI, and Stephanie Daniels of Middletown, RI, and several nieces and nephews Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2004, at 11:00AM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
