Kenneth J. Clarke

Kenneth J. Clarke, 45, of 116 Prospect Ave Middletown, died Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on December 13, 1959, he was the son of Thomas Clarke and Barbara Augustus Clarke of Middletown.Mr. Clarke was a graduate of Rogers High School. He worked for General Physics for the last 13 years, most recently as their wharehouse leadman. A lifelong resident of Aquidneck Island, he spent the last several years helping to care for his parents. Kenny was an avid Yankees fan and kept a close eye on every game, player, and stat along with a close group of friends for the last 15 years. His entire family are sports fans, and they got together every Sunday for volleyball and cards. An acute mind, Ken loved mind puzzles and complex crosswords. Kenny was also a member of the VFW. At home he cared for his cat Rosanna, and was a longtime cat owner.Besides his parents he is survived by his brother Tom Clarke Jr. of Portsmouth, RI, and three sisters Barbie Westfall of Silverdale, WA, Kathy Sarraino of Virginia Beach, VA, and Christine Silveira of Plainfield, CT, and several nieces and nephews Michael Clarke, Michael Sarraino, Stephanie Sarraino, Jimmy Silveira, Nicole Silveira, Kathleen Silveira, and Dalton Matherne.
