Kevin P. Moore, 67, of Riverside, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 surrounded by his loving family at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Harriet M. (Weber) Moore. Married for 41 years they raised three children, traveled extensively, and created a "home" in each of the many places they resided, from New Hampshire, to Texas, and finally Rhode Island, the place where they first met.Born in Lowell, MA, on February 9, 1947, he was the son of the late Arthur F. and Thelma M. (Wagner) Moore.He is survived by his brothers Atty. Gerald F. Moore of Hollis, NH, and Michael P. Moore of Wareham, MA Englewood, FL, and was predeceased by his eldest brother, the late Brian A. Moore of San Francisco, CA.Besides his wife, he leaves his children Erika C. Moore of Jamestown, RI, Christopher M. Moore and his wife Sarah M. (Patterson) Moore of Cheyenne, WY, and Jennifer M. Moore of New Bedford, MA. He was the cherished grandfather of Annabelle R. Moore and Addison G. Moore also of Cheyenne, WY. He also leaves behind many nephews and nieces, and close family friends David Graham and Deborah Fields-Graham, both of So. Portland, ME, all of whom he shared many laughs and adventures,Kevin was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Navy MCB-One Battalion. He graduated from Roger Williams University with a B.A. in English Literature, and worked as a carpenter, Hall Director at the University of New Hampshire, and as Vice President of Customer Relations in the telecommunications industry. He most recently worked in medical transport, assisting the elderly and the ill, the job that brought him the most joy and reward.He loved to cook and entertain, to travel, golf, and to spend time by the ocean and in the White Mountains of NH. His love for family and friends knew no ends, and his generosity and humor brought happiness to all who knew him. His was admired and will be remembered for living life to the fullest and for always marching to the beat of his own drum. From his own example he taught us that each of life's moments are precious, never to wait for tomorrow, that family matters above all else, and to "keep the faith".His family would like to express their appreciation to the cardiology team at Rhode Island Hospital for their care and kindness during Kevin's final days.At his request, a family service will be held privately.
