Kristen K. (Lathan) Papetti, 52, of Hartford, CT, died on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at home.Born in Syracuse, NY on August 6, 1960, she was the daughter of Carla (Jordan) Lathan of Newport, RI and the late James R. Lathan.In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Joseph C. Papetti of Edgewater, MD; her sisters, Kimberley Dunn of Saunderstown, RI and Pamela Lathan of Newport, RI; nine cousins; two nephews and one niece.Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 10:30-11:00 am with a memorial service at 11:00 am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Potter League for Animals, PO Box 412, Newport, RI 02840.
