Larry David Jones

Middletown, RI - Larry David Jones, 52, of 969 West Main Road, Middletown, RI, died on Thursday, March 22, 2007, at home. He was the husband of Lynda Jones. Born in Henderson, TX on October 29, 1955, he was the son of John Paul and Dorothy Spencer Jones of Texarkana, Texas.Larry moved often as a child through North Texas and Colorado while his father served as a minister. He joined the United States Navy when he reached 17, and ater he finished with the Navy he settled in Middletown. Larry worked as a carpenter for various companies in the area including Reid?s Remodeling and Newport Home Design. He was also an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, Middletown. Besides his wife and parents he is survived by his step-daughter Amber Tesorio and her husband Mark of Fall River, MA, his grandchildren Jazmyn, Xavier, and Skylar, his brother Jimmy Jones of Longview, TX, his twin sisters Judy Anderson of Corsicana, TX, and Janie Vogler of Searcy, AR, his brother in law Randy Wooten of Florida. His funeral will be held on Monday, March 26, 2007, at 11:00am in Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway Newport, RI. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Bristol, RI.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2007, from 3-5pm in the Memorial Funeral Home.
