Laura Maria Pine

Middletown, RI - Laura M. Moniz Pine, 81, of 49 Reservoir Avenue Middletown, died Sunday, April 11, 2004 at the home of her sister.She was the wife of the late Manuel J. Pine. Born in Newport, RI on November 16, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Evaristo and Anna DeCosta Moniz. As a young woman, Mrs. Pine worked for the former General Electric ?Monowatt? on Thames Street and the former Lynch Store on Aquidneck Avenue, Middletown, RI. She was a communicant of St. Marys Church. Mrs. Pine loved being a Bingo Player. She is survived by her son Paul J. Pine of Middletown, RI, her grandson Andrew David Pine of Middletown, RI, two sisters Mary Murdock of Dade City, FL, and Gloria Sanfilippo of Newport, RI.She was the sister of the late Manuel Moniz, and George Moniz. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2004, at 9:00 AM in St. Marys Church, Spring Street, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
