Lawrence Bruce Glover

Middletown, RI - Lawrence Larry Bruce Glover, 62, of 12 William Drive, Middletown, RI, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on August 25, 1945, he was the son of James Glover of Newport, RI and the late Frances Butler Glover.Mr. Glover worked at the Maher Center as a piece worker for many years. He was a member of Community Baptist Church. Larry enjoyed going to the Sunset Baseball games and was an avid sports fan and music lover. Larry was known to all by his big bright smile. Besides his father he is survived by his brothers Jack R. Weston of Columbus, GA, James A. Glover and George L. Glover of Newport, RI, and Russell E. Glover of Bellevue, NE, his sisters Gloria Fowlkes of Groton, CT, Ella Glover of Columbus, OH, Cynthia Munford of Warren, RI, and Alfreda Siah of Anchorage, AK, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.He was the brother of the late John Glover. His funeral will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008, at 11:30 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a funeral service at 12:00 pm in Community Baptist Church, 50 Dr. Marcus Wheatland Boulevard, Newport.
