Lawrence Dellecese

NEWPORT, RI - Lawrence Dellecese, 60, of 24 Mary Street, Newport, RI, died Monday, August 15, 2005, at home. Born in New Bedford, MA on June 19, 1945, he was the son of the late James A. and Dorothy Jefferson Dellecese. Larry was a clerk at the New Bedford Boys Club until he moved to Stuart, FL, where he was a clerk in the City Hall, he returned to Newport in 1997. He attended St. Marys Catholic Church. Larry was a former member of K of C Council 4201. He is survived by his siblings Edward C. Dellecese of Bourne, MA, Patricia H. Longley of North Smithfield, RI, and Lorraine D. Carlino of Johnston, RI. He was the brother of the late James A. Dellecese Jr. of Fall River, MA and Chief of Police Donald R. Dellecese of Tecumseh, MI. His funeral will be held on Friday, August 19, 2005, at 9:00 AM in St. Marys Church, Spring Street, Newport. Burial will be private.
