Lenardo Narko Dean Bradic, of Pensacola, Florida formerly of Portsmouth passed away on September 28, 2010, in Florida. He was born on June 10, 1957, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was the son of Mr. Raymond and Mrs. Mildred Kennedy-Galloway of Pensacola, Florida.Mr. Bradic loved the performing arts. He started dancing when he was 2 years old, under the direction of his mother, who owned the Kennedy School of the Performing Arts in Boston, MA. Lenardo, continued his love for the arts and he was cast in many lead roles, in plays while in high school. He also was an original member of the Good News Kids, in the early 1970s. Besides his passion for the arts, he loved working with children. After high school, he worked with his mother, who owned the Tots to Teens Dance School, in Newport, Portsmouth and in Middletown, for many years.He touched the lives of many. He was known as the Big Guy with the big heart and big smile. He loved working with children. He also, worked for the Portsmouth School Department, as a bus driver for many years. Lenardo, also was an avid history buff. He enjoyed researching his fathers family history, and has made several trips back to Rhode Island to search for answers about his ancestors. Lenardo was a graduate of Portsmouth High School, Class of 74 and he attended Providence College. He held various positions in Rhode Island and in Florida. Besides his parents, he leaves behind, his brother, Wilbur Kennedy, Jr. of Boston, MA; and his sister Estrellita Bradic, of Los Angeles, CA. He also leaves his nieces, Ayesha Johnson and Ayanna Johnson, both of Boston. He is survived by his great-nephew Khyeme Johnson; and Great-nieces Maggie Johnson, and Ariel Johnson, all of Boston. He also leaves his uncle, Frederick Galloway and aunt, Pat Galloway of Culver City, CA; his aunts Dolly Galloway, of Randolph, Ma and Beulah Galloway of North Carolina and a host of cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Paul Kennedy; his sister, Arlene Kennedy and maternal grandmother, Mildred Wheeler. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Service is scheduled to begin at 5:00pm. His high school friend, Rev. Connie Andress Stinson will officiate.
