Leona Caroline Sullivan

Leona C. Sullivan, 90, of Middletown, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 in Newport Hospital. Born in Newport, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Emma A. (Silva) Sullivan.Miss Sullivan worked for New England Telephone and Eppley Laboratory. She was a communicant of Jesus Saviour Church.She is survived by her sister Janice F. Leary of Newport. She was the aunt of George Leary and his wife Carol of Newport, Janel Leary of Bristol and James Leary of Newport and great aunt of Meaghan Leary, Shawn Leary and great great aunt of Aiden Leary all of Newport.Calling hours will be held Wednesday morning, November 5, 2014 from 8:00am to 9:30am in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway at Vernon Avenue, Newport, Burial will take place in St. Columba Cemetery Middletown.Donations in her memory may be made to Jesus Saviour Church, 1 Vernon Avenue, Newport, RI 02840.
