Leonard Stauff

Middletown, RI - Leonard V. Lenny Stauff, 59, of 12 Beagle Drive, Middletown, RI, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at home surrounded by his friends. Born in Central Falls, RI on March 19, 1949, he was the son of the late Joseph I. and Alice Gelinas Stauff. Mr. Stauff previously worked for Marriot Hotels, the Candy Shoppe, Bloomin on the Square and Looking Upwards. He was affiliated with both Bridges, Inc. and Looking Upwards. He was an athlete throughout the years with the Special Olympics and an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Lenny will be truly missed by all. He is survived by his friends at Beagle Drive, Judy Wojcik, Joseph Wahl, Christina Shoemaker, Suzanne Maccarone and Roger Sherbourne, as well as his friends and the direct support staff at Bridges, Inc. His funeral will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008, at 12:00pm in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008, from 11-12 in the funeral home.
