Leontina De Melo

Warren, RI - Leontina Silva de Melo, 78, of 10 Ivy Street Warren, RI died Friday, January 28, 2005 at RI Hospital Providence, RI. She was the wife of the late Manuel I. B. de Melo. Born in St. Miguel, Azores, Portugal on March 7, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Albano and Erondina Carreiro Silva. She is survived by four sons Manuel I. B. de Melo Jr. of Dartmouth, MA, Francisco B. de Melo of San Diego, CA, Fernando B. de Melo of Barcelona, Spain and Antonio B. de Melo of Lisbon, Portugal, four daughters Margarida S. Martins of St. Miguel, Azores, Manuela B. de Melo of Stuttgart, Germany, Clotilde B. de Melo of Warren, RI and Paula B. de Melo of Vacaville, CA, two brothers Joao and Jose Da Silva both of Portugal, two sisters Alcina Cesar and Josefina Pacheco both of Portugal and twelve grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 10:00 am in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, route 114, Portsmouth.Burial will be private.
