Portsmouth, - Leontine Ouellette Jones, 94, of 4 South Drive Portsmouth, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at Grand Islander Health Care Center Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late Ambrose Huey Jones. Born in St. Agatha, ME on December 16, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura Martin Ouellette. Mrs. Jones worked as an assembler at the General Electric Monawatt Plant on Thames Street for 20 years. She was a member of the Legion of Mary and the Rosary Solidity of St. Barnabas Church where she also volunteered at the church feast. She is survived by her son Gerald James Jones of Portsmouth, RI, her daughter Geraldine M. Paquin of Portsmouth, RI, two brothers Raoul Ouellette of Middletown, CT, and Rosaire Ouellette of Trempleau, WI, three sisters Theresa Cyr of Forrestville, CT, Jeanne Plourde of Southington, CT, and Azilda Ouellette of Madawaska, ME, two granddaughters and three great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Joseph Ouellette, Arthur Ouellette, Lucian Ouellette and Cecile Marquis. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at 9:00AM, from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM, in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
