Lieselotte M. (Altenhofer) Raposa, 80, of Portsmouth died on May 17, 2013, at Newport Hospital.She was the wife of the late Manuel Arthur Raposa.Born on October 10, 1932 in Wurzburg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Johann and the late Marie (Kuhn) Altenhofer. Mrs. Raposa bowled in her younger years and was a representative for Avon for several years.She is survived by two sons, Manuel H.A. Raposa and his wife Judith of Bristol, RI, and Joseph J. Raposa of Portsmouth, RI, her brother Werner Altenhofer and her sister Inge Lechner both of Wurzburg, Germany, her granddaughters, Melissa Boucher of Warren, RI and Pamela Raposa of Bristol, RI and her great grandsons Nathaniel and Nolan Boucher of Warren, RI.She was predeceased by her son, Perry Michael Raposa, her brother, Hans Altenhofer, and her sister, Karola Albert.A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 10:00AM, in St. Columba Cemetery Chapel, 465 Browns Lane, Middletown, RI.
