Lila Margaret Bunker Middletown, RI - Lila Margaret Goffe Bunker, 85, of 11 Winthrop Drive Middletown, formerly of Newport, Rhode Island, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at Grand Islander Health Care Center Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late Michael A. Bunker which she was married for 61 years. Born in Newport, RI on December 7, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Augustus K. and Emma Louise Meisgeier Goffe. Mrs. Bunker was a graduate of Roger High School class of 1937. She also graduated from Newport Hospital School of Nursing in 1940. Mrs. Bunker was a Registered Nurse with Newport Hospital as a private duty nurse. She was also a member of the Newport Hospital Nurses Alumni Association.Mrs. Bunker enjoyed gardening and painting and also reading. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn J. Hennessey of Middletown, RI, and three sons Michael A. Bunker Jr. of Newport, RI, Wayne A. Bunker of Bangor, ME, and Dr. Bruce W. Bunker of Westford, MA, 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
