She was the wife of the late George Grimes. Born in Woonsocket, RI on September 6, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Cora Nault Lariviere. Mrs. Grimes had worked in area Textile Mills in the Woonsocket area for many years. She is survived by one two daughters Sandra L. Bates of Miami, FL., and Donna Montgomery of Colchester, CT., one son Mark F. Grimes of Beloit, WI, one Brother Robert Lariviere of Bellingham, MA, one Sister Terry Lamoureux of Middletown, RI, 5 Grandchildren. Her funeral will be held Friday, July 9, at08:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, to be followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in Saint Lucy?s Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
