Lillian Marguerite Norlin Warner

NEWPORT, RI - Lillian Marguerite Norlin Warner, 93, of 9 Smith Avenue, Newport, RI, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Manor in Bristol, RI. She was the wife of the late George Thomas Warner Jr. Born in Newport, Rhode Island on December 1, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Frank Edward and Margaret Veronica Moriarty Norlin. Lillian was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was instumental in starting the Underwood School in Newport. She was a Communicant of St. Josephs Church. Lillian was an avid reader who enjoyed writing poetry. She was a doll collector who won many ribbons at doll shows. She is survived by her children George T. Warner III of Bristol, RI, John P. Warner and his wife Judy of Newport, RI, Michael R. Warner and his wife Barbara of Newport, RI, Jill Warner Ragland and her husband Bill of Springvale, ME, and Claire V. Warner of Bremerton, WA, her sister Agnes Haley of Madison, WI, and also eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brother?s Frank E. and John Norlin, two sisters Evelyn Seavey and Gladys Spicer, her grandson David Alan Ragland and her great granddaughter Gabriella Silvia.Her funeral services and burial will be private.
