Lillian P. Daly

Lillian P. Daly, 89, of 191 Forest Avenue, Middletown, formerly of 144 Massasoit Drive, Warwick, died Friday, February 2, 2007 at Grand Islander Health Care Center in Middletown. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Daly.Born in East Hampton, MA on November 23, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Stacia Tryba Peters.She had worked as a check teller at the former Industrial National Bank. Her other work experience included Whalley?s Pharmacy, Howard Johnson?s and Residence Inn in Warwick.Lillian was an avid gardener, dog lover, good friend, and a doting great grandmother to Sam, Ryan, Noah, Benjamin, Kylie and Frederick.She is survived by her son, Edward P. Daly and his wife Suzanna of Coventry, RI, her daughter, Constance Daly Sullivan of Palo Alto, CA and Newport, RI, seven grandchildren, Catherine Sullivan Burchard and her husband Scott, Maureen Sullivan Schiffman and her husband Joshua, Thomas Sullivan, Shawn Daly, Brigitte Flannagan, Patrick Daly, and Molly Daly. She was the sister of the late Edward Peters.A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.
