Linda Marie Medeiros

Middletown, RI - Linda Marie Medeiros, 61, of Middletown, died Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on August 13, 1952, she was the daughter of Hermina "Minnie" (Lopes) Medeiros of Middletown and the late Joseph Carl Medeiros. Linda worked as a housekeeper for the James L. Maher Center. She was a communicant of Jesus Saviour Church and a member of the Rosary Sodality and the Action Club part of the Kiwanis. Her life was centered around the Maher Center and her many friends there. She loved going to movies, country music and enjoyed shopping and bowling. Besides her mother she is survived by her aunt Kathleen Reedenauer and her husband Paul of Middletown, RI, her uncles Edmund Lopes and his wife Mary of Newport, RI and Roland Lopes of Portsmouth, RI, and her cousins, Edmund Lopes Jr. of Newport, RI, Mark Reedenauer and his wife Michelle and their children, Marshall and Reece of Concord, NH, Michelle Lauth of Fall River, MA and R. David Lauth and his wife Teresa and their son Jonas of Middletown, RI and other cousins in the Mass area.Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013, from 4-6pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at 8AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport.
