Newport, RI - Lola Delores Jones, 83, of 71 Warner Street, Newport, RI, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Claybron W. Jones. Born in Thomasville, GA on January 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Eugenia Caldwell. She is survived by her sons, Claybron W. Jones, Jr. of Newport, RI, Ronald L. Jones of Charlotte, NC and Rodney L. Jones of Newport, RI; by her grandchildren Claybron W. Jones III, Oliva L. Jones, Yolanda C. Jones, Sean A. Jones, Avanate A. Jones and Cecila Pitts; and by five great grandchildren Raylona Jones, Kalil Jones, Michael Malik Jones, Jada C. Hamilton and Darius M. Servick, Jr. Mrs. Jones as she was so aptly known leaves four remaining siblings, sisters Ossie Mack and Marilyn Kelly of Jacksonville, FL, and her brothers Elijah Blair of New Jersey and Dan Caldwell of Thomasville, GA.
