Lorraine Andrade

Lorraine Andrade, 61, of Peckham Street, Fall River, MA, formerly of Newport, RI passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.She was the wife of Kenneth Jason Eberhart of Fall River, MA.Born in Newport, RI on January 1, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Anthony and Georgina Teresa Monteiro Andrews.Known to many as Lorry, she was a graduate of Rogers High School in Newport. She had also lived in San Francisco, New York and New Jersey before returning to Newport and Fall River. She had worked at Newport Shipyard and at Hodges Badge in Portsmouth as an accounting clerk for the past 5 years, where she will be greatly missed by her co-workers. She loved to crochet and created many original designs. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, gardening and flowers.In addition to her husband Jason, she is survived a son Sean Clayton, Sr. Sheila of Fords, NJ; three sisters, Jean Neves Frankie Neves of Newport, RI, Joan Andrews Robert DeRoeck, of Sandwich, MA, and Beverly Brozozog Lenneth Brozozog of Nassau, Bahamas; two grandchildren, Sean Clayton, Jr. and Shane Clayton; her uncles, Albert Monteiro Toni and George Viera, and an aunt, Mary Chambers, all of Newport, RI; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.She was the sister of the late Manuel Anthony, James Joseph, Robert Paul Andrews and Cynthia Andrews.Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
