Lorraine C. Levesque

Fall River, MA - Lorraine C. Levesque, 80, of recently of the Catholic Memorial Nursing Home, Fall River, MA, formerly of Indiantown, FL, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at the nursing home. She was the wife of the late Arthur Adolph Levesque. Born in New Bedford, MA, on October 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Ovila Bellenoit and Marie Louise Proulx Bellenoit.Mrs. Levesque worked as a seamstress in Fall River at Semester Dress Company. She was a past member of the Montaup Country Club in Portsmouth, RI and the Indianwood Country Club in Indiantown, Florida. Mrs. Levesque enjoyed playing bingo and cards regularly while living in Florida. She is survived by her sons Ronald A. Levesque and his wife Judith, of Portsmouth, RI and Kenneth D. Levesque also of Portsmouth, RI, her brother Marcel Bellenoit of West Warwick, RI, her sisters Rita Spurgin of and Louise Boutin both of Fall River, MA, and her grandchildren Douglas R. Levesque, Melissa A. Levesque, Alexandra Levesque and Christopher Levesque all of Portsmouth, RI. She was the sister of the late John Bellenoit, Jeanette Weeden, and Sr. Louis Joseph Bellenoit, Sisters of St. Josephs in Springfield, MA. Her funeral will be held on Monday, December 18, 2006, at 10:00am, in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Portsmouth Cemetery in Portsmouth, RI.
