Louann Nelsen

Middletown, RI - LouAnn Nelsen, 57, of Middletown, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Newport Hospital. Born in Newport, RI, formerly of San Diego, CA, she was the daughter of Louis Nelsen of Middletown, RI and the late Dorothy (McCarthy) Nelsen. LouAnn worked for over 30 years as a CNA at the Grand Islander in Middletown, caring for so many through the years. Besides her father, she is survived by her sister Linda Lou Nelsen of Middletown, RI, her aunt and god mother Barbara Flanders of Everett, WA, her uncle John William McCarthy and her aunt Gail Ford and her husband Thomas of Kingman, AZ, and many friends and neighbors, some lifelong and some more recent, who all became a part of her family.
