Louis J. Nebiolo

Middletown, RI - Louis J. Nebiolo, 82, of 18 Willow Avenue, Middletown, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Newport Hospital. He was the husband of Lena M. Wesoly Nebiolo. Born in Newport, on March 29, 1925, he was the son of the late Marcellino and Margaret Prasso Nebiolo.Mr. Nebiolo was a 1943 graduate of Rogers High School and a member of the ROTC. He served his country during WWII in the Navy. Mr. Nebiolo went on to graduate from Rhode Island College in 1950. He worked as a program manager at the Naval Underwater Systems Center having retired in 1978 after 27 years. After retiring from NUSC, he worked for Gould and Hughes Aircraft. Mr. Nebiolo was a Commodore at the Newport Yacht Club during 1985 and 1986.Besides his wife of fifty five years he leaves two sons Richard J. Nebiolo of Buena Park, CA, Steven M. Nebiolo of Middletown, RI. He is also survived by his sister Norma Shannon of North Providence, RI and many nieces and nephews.He was the brother of the late Gloria Blinzler of East Providence, RI. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 8:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway Newport with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 ? 8pm in the Memorial Funeral Home.Memorial donations may be made to American Parkinsons Disease Association, Rhode Island Chapter, P.O.
