Louis Q. Hanson

Portsmouth, - Louis Q. ?Peanuts? Hanson, 84, of 31 North Drive Portsmouth, died Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at home.He was the husband of the late Helen Maxwell Hanson. Born in Denver, CO on August 1, 1918, he was the son of the late Fred and Annie Olson Hanson. Mr. Hanson was a Mechanic with the public works department on the Newport Navy Base, until his retirement in 1982 after 26 years. He is survived by his daughter Joyce Weaver of Portsmouth, RI, his son Michael Hanson of Hudson, FL, his brother Frederick Hanson of NH, twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.He was the father of the late Carlton ?PNuts? Hanson. His funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 10, at 11:00AM in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
