Louisa R. Amaral

Middletown, RI - Louisa R. Kaull Amaral, 83, of 66 Seascape Avenue, Middletown, died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of Alfred T. Amaral. Born in Newport, RI on February 3, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Rebecca Pike Kaull. Mrs. Amaral worked at the former J.J. Newberrys 5 10, the former General Electric Company as an assembler and the Middletown School Department. She was a member of St. Lucys Church, Middletown Grange and Atkins Dance Classes. Besides her husband of 57 years she is survived by her two brothers Elmer Sherman Kaull of Penillas Park, FL, and Ralph William Kaull of Middletown, RI, her daughter in-law Tringula Amaral of Hopewell, VA, her grandchildren Alfred Thomas Amaral III and Amanda Holly Amaral both of Hopewell, VA, two step granddaughters Kim Hunter and Gwen Green both of Hopewell, VA, her step great grand daughter Alyson Hunter of Hopewell, VA, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Alfred Thomas Amaral Jr., and the sister of the late Archie Luce Kaull, Anna Mae Kaull Peckham and Alice Wilson Kaull McGoff Bradt.Her funeral will be held on Friday, April 23, 2004, at 8:00AM, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00AM, in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown. Donations in her memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 33 College Hill Road, Bldg. 15C, Warwick, RI 02886.
