Louise Cheetham

Tiverton, RI - Louise (Barboza) Cheetham, 70, of Tiverton died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. Born April 6, 1942 in Bristol, RI, she was the daughter of late Manuel and Mary (Cabral) Barboza. Mrs. Cheetham worked as a hairdresser for 25 years. She enjoyed horseback riding, photography, and Bingo. Nothing gave her more joy then her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.She is survived by her children, Mark Gorman of Tiverton, RI, Jeffrey Cheetham of Bristol, RI, and Donna Durgin of Riverside, RI, her brothers Daniel Barboza of Johnston, RI and David Barboza of Bristol, RI, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Grederick Barboza and George Barboza. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 10am, in St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol.Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Autism Project of Rhode Island, 51 Sockanosset Crossroad, Cranston, RI 02910.
