Louise C.S. Lime

Louise C.S. Lime, of 150 East Main Street, Bunker Hill, IN, passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 in Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Maui, HI on September 28, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Chan Mun Yun and Kyung Chu Nahm. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. As an Air Force wife, Louise lived in Ohio, California, Japan, Washington State, Morocco, and Indiana. Louise raised five children on her own, graduated from Kokomo Business College. Louise worked as a secretary and contract specialist for the US Air Force. She held the position of chairwoman for United Way for Bunker Hill, IN, was a Girl Scout leader for 20 years, a water safety instructor, and held certifications in scuba diving and Red Cross first-aid. She organized hula programs, including the instrumentals and dances and was an avid country western dancer. Louise is survived by two sisters: Alice Hayashi of Colorado and Anna Ortiz of Oregon. An admired mother, she leaves behind five children, Kenneth Lime and his wife Oki of Stevensville, MD, Danny Lime of Ft. Wayne, IN, Leilani Hill and her husband Bill of Westerly, RI, Neal Lime and his wife Karin of Charlotte, VT and Luana Cherenzia of Middletown, RI. Louise, better known as Tutu, was an inspirational grandmother. Tutu will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Mark Lime, Amber Neville, Danielle Flaningan, Kyle Cherenzia, Nelson Lime, Keilani Lime, Kainani Cherenzia, Daniel Lime, Kenneth Gremour and her seven great grandchildren.
