Louise Goyette Hetland

Portsmouth, - Louise Goyette Hetland, 92, of 20 Common Fence Point Blvd Portsmouth, formerly of Newport, RI, died Saturday, May 3, 2003 at home. She was the wife of Walter H. Hetland. Born in Magog, Quebec, Canada on August 11, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Amedee Goyette and the late Ernestine Lemerise Goyette. Mrs. Hetland was a Laboratory Secretary with Newport Hospital. She retired after 22 years there. Mrs. Hetland graduated from Bryant College of Business, then in Fall River, MA. She is survived by her husband Walter H. Hetland of Portsmouth, RI, her daughter Lorraine Moller of West Springfield, MA, her brother Louis Goyette of Fall River, MA, her sister Lucille Goyette of Portsmouth, RI, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.She was preceded in death by her son Wallace A. Martland. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be private.
