Louise Mary Souza

NEWPORT, - Louise Mary Arruda Souza, 82, of Heatherwood Nursing Home, formerly of Edgar Court, Newport, died Sunday, February 23, 2003 at Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Everett Souza. Born in Portsmouth, RI on June 4, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Antone and Marion Borges Arruda. She is survived by two sons Phillip Souza and Everett Souza Jr. both of Newport, RI, two daughters Barbara LaRock of Coventry, RI, and Mary Sowers of Newport, RI, one brother Antone Arruda of North Tiverton, RI, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Edward Arruda, Frank Arruda and Alice Jackson.Funeral services were private.Arrangements are by the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
