Lovonda L. Romanelli

Woonsocket, RI - Lovonda L. Romanelli, 62, of Pascoag, RI and formerly of Portsmouth, RI, died Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI. Born in Key West, FL on January 2, 1951, she was the daughter of John Romanelli and the late Donna (Colt) Romanelli.Lovonda was a graduate of Roger Williams College, with degrees in Civil Engineering and Art. She began her career after school but soon left work due to her disability. She was a former member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Portsmouth and a talented artist and poet. She is survived by her father John Romanelli of Portsmouth, and three brothers, Robert Romanelli of Newport, John Romanelli of Pittsburgh, PA and Christopher Romanelli of Cranston, RI. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 1pm in St. Mary's Episcopal Church, East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Churchyard.
