Bristol, RI - Lucia Santos, 80, of St. Elizabeths Manor, Bristol, RI, formerly of 16 Morgan Street, Portsmouth, RI, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at St. Elizabeths Manor, Bristol, RI. She was the wife of the late Manuel Rodrigues Santos. Born in Acushnet, MA on September 16, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joaquin and Gertrude Cotta Santos.Mrs. Santos was a member of the Portsmouth Senior Citizens Center. She was a communicant of St. Anthonys Church. She worked at Portsmouth High School for a few years. She was an avid craftmaker and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her step daughters Theresa Canuel of Swansea, MA and Mary Santos, her brothers Miguel and his wife Vera Santos of North Dartmouth, MA, Armand and his wife Norma Santos of Fairhaven, MA and Daniel and his wife Jane Santos of Wellington, New Zealand, her sister in-law Connie Fernandes of Fall River, MA, her nephews Tony Fernandes of Bridgwater, MA, Roger Fernandes of Raynham, MA, Ronald Santos of Los Angeles, CA, Armand ?Mickey? Santos of Lakeville, MA, Jeff Santos of Somerville, MA, and Jermey Santos of Wellington, New Zealand and her nieces Bev Santos of Los Angeles, CA, Gertrude ?Trudy? Clark of Fairhaven, MA, Elizabeth Santos and Amanda Trew of Wellington, New Zealand and Anna Sousa of Tiverton, RI. She was the sister of the late Lionel Santos and Irene Cabral. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2006, at 9:00am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Portsmouth.Calling hours will be held the morning of the funeral from 8:30-9:30am in the funeral home.
