Tiverton, RI - Lucille Marilyn Marsh Lima, 74, of 225 Brayton Rd., #101, Tiverton, RI, died Saturday, September 13, 2008 peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Albert A. Lima. Born in Fall River, MA on February 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Claire Sharples Marsh.Mrs. Lima was a school bus driver for Laidlaw Transit for 26 years before retiring in 2007. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, dining at the Casual Inn in Bristol, and was an avid Red Sox fan. She especially enjoyed all of her kids on the school bus. She is survived by two sons, Donald A. Lima and his wife Diane of Carver, MA, and Paul S. Lima of Little Compton, RI; two daughters, Lori M. Gaspar and her husband Kenneth of Monett, Missouri and Tracey A. Geoffroy and her husband Gary of Bristol, RI; three sisters, Betty Jean Monte of Portsmouth, RI, Carol Forrest of Virginia, and Arlene Tavares of Portsmouth, RI; fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon A. Worsley, and her brother, Charles F. Marsh.Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 9 am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Rd., Portsmouth, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, 2836 East Main Rd., Portsmouth. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Home Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 or to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA 02115.
