Lucylle B. Quinn

Middletown, RI - Lucylle B. (Butler) Quinn, 80, of Middletown, died Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on August 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Butler and Lucy B. (Johnson) Butler. Lucylle worked at the Newport Hospital as an ICU Coordinator for 35 years, retiring in 2002. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, walking on the waterfront evenings in Battery Park, watching the sunsets, the theater and traveling. She was a member of AARP. She is survived by her longtime companion Robert G. McClain of Middletown, RI, her son James E. Quinn of Ivoryton, CT, her daughter Susan E. Marshall of Middletown, RI, her brother Edward J. Butler Jr. of Newport, RI, her grandchildren, Monica M. Courtney E. Botelho, Isabella Kate, Emma Quinn and Anna Juliette Marshall all of Middletown, RI, Rachael, Rebecca, Melissa Noah Quinn of Clinton, CT, her great grandchildren, Audrina Rose Horan, John Reynolds Horan, IV and Tierra Nunez, and her niece Debbie Foley.She was the grandmother of the late Katelyn Rose Botelho, the mother-in-law of the late John Reynolds, III and the niece of the late Laura J. (Butler) White and William P. White.Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at 10:30 AM in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.Visiting hours are omitted at the request of Lucylle. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery, Brown's Lane, Middletown.Donations in her memory may be made to the Middletown Rescue Wagon Fund, 239 Wyatt Road, Middletown, RI 02842.
