Lula Beatrice Nally

Newport, RI - Lula Beatrice (Stith) Nally, 85, of Newport, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Hinton, WV on April 21, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Enoch and Beatrice (Murray) Stith. Mrs. Nally was a graduate of Rosenwald High School in Waynesboro, VA and after she left high school she moved to Newport. She was a member of Community Baptist Church and served on its hospitality committee. She worked at the Newport Hospital for 33 years, and as a child care provider at New Visions. She is survived by her daughter Peggy Stith of Newport, RI, and her granddaughter Tania Stith of Newport, RI.Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014, from 4-7pm in the Community Baptist Church, 50 Dr. Marcus F. Wheatland Blvd., Newport.Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 29, at 11:00 AM in Community Baptist Church, 50 Dr. Marcus Wheatland Boulevard, Newport. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery, Turner and Wyatt Road, Middletown.
